Mark is a 2002 graduate of Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where he majored in Economics. He then graduated from Drake University Law School in 2006, where he gained valuable experience in the Criminal Law Clinic.
He has represented hundreds of central Iowans in criminal matters ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felony charges.

Our firm handles hundreds of criminal cases in Central Iowa every year, ranging from simple misdemeanors to complex felony criminal trials. Our team is second to none. We have multiple skilled law clerks who perform complex legal analysis on our criminal matters. We also have multiple bilingual employees, which allows us to serve a diverse client base. I have been the lead trial counsel in hundreds of cases. I have also represented thousands of Central Iowans in divorce matters, including international cases brought under the constructs of the Hague Convention in the United States Federal Court for Iowa. I have also successfully argued numerous cases in front of the Iowa Court of Appeals. In addition, I have represented individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries in state and federal court. In the last five years, I have collected over ten million dollars on behalf of injured parties. This diverse experience has made me a well-rounded trial attorney. I am a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, Polk County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association (ABA). I grew up in Ankeny and currently reside there with my wife and daughters. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching my daughter’s softball team, and managing my stable of racehorses.
